Keith Greenard, CIM, FCSI

The Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation highlights Keith's ability to serve the most sophisticated of financial clients.  The accreditation also distinguishes Keith as a professional that can create and implement advanced investment strategies, and evaluate portfolio performance.  Keith also has been awarded the Fellow of CSI (FCSI) designation.  This is the most respected designation available in the financial services industry and reflects upon Keith's high level of ethical standards and the ability to be a trusted leader.  Keith is also licensed as a Life Underwriter, enabling him to offer insurance strategies.  Keith enjoys all forms of travel abroad and touring North America on his motorcycle. 

     
 

Kevin Greenard, CA, FMA, CFP
Wealth Advisor

The Chartered Accountants (CA), Professional Financial Planner (PFP), Financial Management Advisor (FMA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations highlights Kevin's academic focus on all forms of tax and financial planning.  The categories of planning that Kevin focuses on are:  financial, tax, estate, charitable giving and education.  Kevin also highlights the importance of having a team of professionals, including internal members within ScotiaMcLeod and the Scotiabank group along with external professionals, such as our clients' lawyers and accountants.   Kevin obtained his Chartered Accountants designation through articling at McGorman MacLean in Parksville, BC.  Kevin audited financial services companies through working with two national accounting firms, Ernst & Young and KPMG.  Kevin has also worked in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda as the financial controller for investment management and advisory firms.  Kevin has traveled to over 60 countries, seeking those that have high mountains to climb.  He enjoys playing golf, fishing and spending time with his family. 

     
 

Anne Delves
Administrative Associate

Anne has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct & Practices Handbook Course. Anne assists clients with all types of enquiries, and works closely with both Keith and Kevin to ensure that all aspects of clients’ accounts are handled efficiently and accurately. Anne has impeccable attention to detail, and prides herself in providing excellent service to clients. On a personal note, Anne enjoys running, hiking, biking, the theatre, music, and travelling.

     
 

Sabrina Shukin
Administrative Assistant

Sabrina has been with ScotiaMcLeod for two years and is currently working on her Canadian Securities Course. Sabrina manages the administrative aspects of our clients' accounts, such as appointments, cheque inquiries, systematic investments, account preparations, and transactions. Sabrina has the operational experience, motivation and the necessary contacts to get things done efficiently and correctly. Her driving nature and attention to detail is essential to the work we do.

On a personal level, Sabrina was born and raised on Vancouver Island and currently resides in Victoria. She enjoys the outdoors, especially surfing in the ocean and snowboarding in the mountains.

     
 

Joseph Taylor
Senior Will & Estate Planner

Joseph has over thirty years of estate planning experience and joined Scotia Private Client Group in 2005.  He is available to provide advice and guidance to our clients for their will and estate planning strategies.  Scotiatrust is able to provide estate and trust agency services.  Joseph is also able to assist our clients with planning and administration including establishing charitable foundations and charitable trusts.  He brings a holistic approach to our clients' situation, using his expertise to guide them towards the estate plan which best suits their circumstances.  Joseph holds the Member, Trust Institute designation and has completed the Canadian Securities Course, through the Canadian Securities Institute. He is also a member of the Victoria Estate Planning Council.  Joseph remains active in his community as a volunteer for the Partners With Youth campaign through the YMCA of Victoria.

     
 

Laurie Palmer
Trust Services Manager

Laurie is responsible for managing the delivery of products and services offered by Scotiatrust. She has been with the Scotiabank Group™ since 1994 and has worked in the financial industry since 1977. Her previous role as Senior Trust Officer provides her with a solid understanding of the trust services offered trough the Bank. Laurie has completed the Canadian Securities Course through the Canadian Securities Institute. She has also completed the Taxation of Estates and Trusts, as well as Levels One and Two of the Estate and Trust Administration courses through the Institute of Canadian Bankers. Laurie is active in her community as a member of the Victoria Estate Planning Council.
